These settings decide how the Financials dashboard and Profit & Loss report count income and expenses. Only you can change them.
Changing the method changes how every Financials report and the Profit & Loss count income and expenses. Your original records are not changed; the reports are recalculated. Consult your accountant before changing the agency's official accounting method.
QuickBooks is noted for this agency. Broker Desk doesn't connect to QuickBooks or ask for its login; the Financials tool can export transactions with QuickBooks-ready account names for your bookkeeper.
The carriers listed here appear in the insurance company dropdowns, and their commission terms are the defaults for every policy. Any account can still use its own rate, installments or payment type from Edit in the Policy Book.
